Born in the mountains of La Rioja, Julia, or Juls, as everyone know her, has lived and studied between Madrid, Berlin, Barcelona and Ghent. She is currently based in Ghent, though her projects often whisk her away to various corners of Europe.
Her formal acting training began at Nancy Tuñón i Jordi Oliver Escola de Actors in Barcelona, and she has since refined her craft with professionals such as Lucy Lenox and the InExtremis Stunt Academy.
While her primary focus is acting, she is passionately committed to a multidisciplinary approach, developing her talents both in front of and behind the camera.
Her portfolio includes diverse projects such as performances in films, music videos, dance, theatre, and video art. Additionally, she has created photographic exhibitions, light installations, and visual projects that delve into the expressive potential of the human body, earning her numerous grants and prices, including the prestigious LAUS award.
A graduate in graphic design and motion graphics from IED Barcelona, Juls seamlessly integrates these skills into her artistic endeavors. She is also a dedicated enthusiast of the European swing dance scene.
